        <text>Notifier takes no parameters. When called, it puts a flashing sicn in the application menu, and marks the application with a diamond, if the calling application is in the background. If the calling application is in the foreground, nothing happens. This is useful for long scripts to let the user switch out of HyperCard and work on something else, but then let them know when HyperCard is ready to interact again.
